![Thank you to Smile Foundation for giving us an opportunity to make 300 upcycled stockings for theor christmas gifts donation to underprivileged children.
You guys not only made the children happy, but also empowered the women tailors at MITU and prevented cloth waste from reaching the landfill.
Every occasion has an opportunity to make a larger impact, it's the choice we make that will truly enable it.
A special shoutout to our team, especially Asha who figured out the design, cloth available and finished in record time.👏👏
P.S: We designed it in a sucha way that it is reusable as a pouch later on too, because being eco-friendly is also to enable reusability.
Thanks to @kshitijbagrodia for bringing us this opportunity to innovate and convince another client into choosing upcycled products.

I appreciate the ideas and aims of MITTU , which has taken up many initiatives for empowerment and uplifting women . The most important is creating awareness about Menstrual Hygiene and distribution of Kit to women in need. Also there initiative on up cycling and recycling scraps of fabric to make beautiful products such as bags , pouches, runners, quilts etc. ; which is not only creating employment opportunities but also doing their bit in saving these waste from going to the trash dumps.
